Stories I'm reading: Feet of Hypnosis

MC Forum--A new message board for hypno-eroticists, though I haven't any activity from the same-sex crowd yet.

"Steve, you're a great guy with great skills, and you're gonna do great!"--I found this hilarious clip through PVP Online, and I wondered if this couldn't be turned into an MC/muscle story. Hmmm...

Gay Mardi Gras 2004--Maybe one of these years I'll actually get to join in the festivities either here or in New Orleans instead of being cooped up in the office all day.

Sing to the Lord an old song

God is on the mountain top
Burning like a silver flame
The summit of beauty and love
And Jesus was His name

CHORUS:
He's got it
Yeah, baby, He's got it
I'm your Jesus, I'm your fire
Forget your desire
Well, I'm your Jesus, I'm your fire
Forget your desire

I almost fell for this because it seemed so plausible considering how kooky the religious right has been getting as of late. Heck, for all I know it might actually catch on. (Heaven forbid.) Maybe someone can continue what one Farker started: "Red, red wine/Transubstantiate for me." :O [c/o Fark.com]

Weeeeeeellll,
You know you make me wanna Ralph
Kick my heels up & Ralph
Throw my hands up & Ralph
Throw my hands back & Ralph

Although I'm still single (and not really looking), I dunno why I'm feeling the love this Valentine's Day. Must be Cupid's Arrow lodged right up my ass or something. :)

Stories I'm reading:

Lies, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Sappiness--I suppose I shouldn't have been expecting too much, but I found Chasing Liberty a bit too cutsie-patootie even for my taste as it went over the line of believability and barely managed not to fall into the abyss of incredulity. Mandy Moore, who played the highly-repressed presidential daughter Anna, needed to loosen up a bit more onscreen. Still, I came away from the movie enjoying the lovely, lovely European cities and scenery, the romantic subplot between Anna's two secret service handlers played by Jeremy Piven and Annabelle Sciorra, and seeing in his American film feature debut Matthew Goode, who's one great-lookin' Briton and whom I wouldn't mind seeing in his boxerbriefs again. ;) Salon

Dozens of couples line up for same-sex marriages--Wow, this is really exciting stuff--downright historic even--despite the fact I'm watching the events unfold half a world away, and while the debate over gay marriage rages, it's very heartening to know that amidst the hate and chaos, love is finally given a chance to grow.

And here are some links to round things up...
